The terminal loop
Nine terminals on one horseshoe
Every LAX terminal sits on World Way, a one-way loop you enter from Century Boulevard. Departures are on the upper level and arrivals on the lower level. Miss your terminal and you go around the whole loop again, so check the terminal in the job before your black car leaves the lot.
International flights land at the Tom Bradley International Terminal (TBIT) at the far end of the loop. Executive and VIP meet and greet jobs often start here, and passengers take longer to come out because of customs.
Step by step
How an LAX chauffeur pickup works on Uways
- 1
Take the job
Every airport transfer shows the terminal, flight number, passenger count and vehicle type before you accept.
- 2
Track the flight
Open the flight from the job to see delays and the real landing time.
- 3
Wait outside the loop
Circling World Way wastes time. Wait at the cell phone lot until your passenger is ready.
- 4
Meet and drive
Meet inside at baggage claim for meet and greet jobs, or at the lower level curb. Then start the ride in the app.

LAX tips for black car drivers
International takes longer
At TBIT, passengers often come out 45 to 90 minutes after landing. Plan your wait around customs, not the landing time.
Avoid the afternoon peak
The loop and Century Boulevard are slowest in the late afternoon. Leave extra time for pickups between 3 and 7 PM.
Keep the passenger updated
Call or text the passenger when you leave the lot so they know where to meet your car.
One network
Built for limo and black car operators
Whether you run a single luxury sedan or a fleet of SUVs, stretch limousines and Sprinter vans, LAX keeps you busy and sometimes overbooked. Uways connects you with professional chauffeurs across Los Angeles, so a last minute airport transfer never turns into a lost client.
Post an LAX pickup you can't cover and another professional driver on the network takes it. Or turn on your mile range around the airport and pick up black car, limo and executive car service jobs from other operators between your own rides.
